Children at an early age can partition numbers and learn number theory if done through games and manipulatives. Using dotted polyhedral (dice), the participants of this workshop will mess around with non-traditional addition facts, and other operations will be investigated. Traditionally just two digit math facts are taught for the sums of ten when there are many, many more. Using only positive whole numbers, guess how many addition facts there are for ten?
